Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of construction tasks on existing and new residential buildings.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify necessary repairs and improvements.
- Handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and other general repairs.
- Install and repair fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with property management team to plan and execute renovation projects.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and building codes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and property owners.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a contractor or in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of construction, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in various trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Relevant certifications or licenses in construction or related trades are a plus.
